Is there another application for the iPod Touch?

I have an iPod Touch and download the Remote application from Apple that can control iTunes through my iPod. However, this does not work – I think because the IP address on my cell phone keeps changing for some reason not connected. Anyway, there is another application that will the same and is easier to work as "remote." Preferably I would like it free too. Thanks, Jake
