How I can connect my iPod nano to a TV?

I brought this Apple iPod AV Composite Cable off eBay without instructions. Http: / / cgi.ebay.co.uk / was / eBayISAPI.dll? Item = 300323469395 & ViewItem good? I tried to connect, but you know what I'm doing. Back My TV has a connection yellow and red but not white. Works on any TV? even abroad? Thank you. I would like advice on what to do, so I havnt had the good I want say. It is an AV connector, yellow, red and white (like everything else) and the connector end of the iPod. My TV only has L and R Audio, Scart connectors and Arial. No entry or exit.
