Why does Apple claim to have 14 hours of battery life on the iPod video when most people I do not mean 4:00?

The 14 hours is only for audio playback, and the hard drive turning once. LCD Screen drains the battery quickly, like reading information off the hard drive several times to feed the large size of video files. For Max battery life, turn on the backlight, select a playlist of audio files, press play and not touch anything else. there actually battery last about 14 hours in this case "best" scenario.
