What about the lawsuit, the iPod battery?

My iPod is eligible for a replacement battery under Apple Regulation I have sent all the documents. I sent in last fall, but I have not heard anything more. Regulation is valid in the future? How long should I wait before to do something? Do you think it will replace my battery, or simply give me a new or refurbished iPod?
