IPod Nano 8GB 80GB iPod Classic 60GB cons vs Creative Zen?

I'm sure he wants an iPod, but I can not decide between 8GB nano (3rd generation) and classic 80GB (6th generation). I also think the Creative Zen Vision: M 60GB – but is obviously more money less memory. Any input I? My main concern is the reliability of an iPod – I have heard many horror stories to give up working after a year (which is out of warranty, customers were advised to "buy a new" as if iPods are at least a year anyway!). Also, many people have said that the Nano (Being a flash drive) is much more resistant than conventional – as is so true? What would the life of every being? And (finally!) If I had to buy one in the U.S. (I live in the UK – but it works very well buy cheaper abroad) Does anyone know where I would be if something went wrong with that? Obviously I could not take it to the store, but Apple repair if still under warranty? Thanks to everyone who replies:)

Creative is very nice, the only problem is its heavy quality music, not as high as the iPod and is easily scratched, the iPod is very good and yes it delivered it with 1 year international warranty, so if something goes wrong or can not be repaired in any country that has an official Apple Store and iPod nano 8 GB – her .. old enough but if u do not want to see the videos then u should go for it .. but if you want videos for creativity and then, if you love music and have a lot of it u can not go for the iPod classic is wrong with THT
