What happened to my iPod? ?

I have not abandoned, it was not to extreme temperatures .. When I switched today to listen, jumping and click fun coming from inside the iPod, if I wanted the menu and OK, and went to Apple, but then went to the Big Red X with a red circle with a Web site, www.apple.com / support / ipod. I went and I went to the iPod Classic section, and the troubleshooting section. I followed the instructions. I even connected the iPod to the computer and not even register on iTunes – and that is not there. For more information, is a fifth generation 80GB iPod Classic, black I bought May 8, 2008 Best Buy. Please tell me what I can do about it. Thank you.

No moving parts in this unit, so that the click should be an audio problem. No need to click from the unit. I want to bring an Apple store, they are good with this sort of thing.
