Need help to fix my iPod

I have a huge place in my ipod and my battery after charging for 6 hours I have about entitlement an hour. I have a black 30GB iPod. I took it to the "authorized service center for Apple Panjim, Goa in India or something called Keystone and they said they could not replace to the screen? And they said the battery is good. I think the work is up to you guys help me and I'll try to fix the house I bought used and it worked very well for a year as evidence million times

hmmm. when mine was well, I put it to my Apple store, told them what was happening, and gave me new here. you do not have an Apple Store where you live? Or call 1-800-MY-APPLE. may be able to help
