what is wrong with my iPod mini?

I have a 4GB iPod mini, but every time you load is 5 minutes, then appears with an apple and frozen, Ethe software is because I do wwhat HAV. Also could someone tell me where to find the Apple iPod is not EBAY! Thank you.
