Is there a way to escape from my iPod Touch without erasing all my music?

I have a second generation iPod touch with software 3.1 and was wondering if there was a way for me to jailbreak my ipod touch without losing all my ….. music and if there is a way to do that and still have my Apple applications there.

I made my 2G iPod sync with iTunes, and when does the jailbreak, I moved everything back to it with version 2.1.1. For version 3.0, which has lost nothing when jailbroken with red snow. However, know there is a jailbreak for 3.1 … (
