How do you transfer music files to an Apple iPod LimeWire?

I have an Apple iPod, but can not transfer my downloads LimeWire on my iPod. It leads me to iTunes and I can see my LimeWire and files that I downloaded from there, but I can not be transferred. Help I'm two seconds away the release of The Ting by the window.
