Apple ipod

After a year and rarely used the iPod Nano motherboard does not work. Do I still maintain that the Apple store?

Apple gives assurance the product in the year of purchase. But rarely use this unit and now I'm going to use it, would hang and crash. I hope this will last at least five years prior to the agglomeration something worth while. Is there anything I want from Apple? I bought abroad.

I doubt you can do something now. If you bought a year ago, when the new Nano was only on the market, not all bugs have been developed. So now you're stuck with a useless piece of garbage.
