What would the costs of repairing Apple Store iPod headphone jack?

The headphone jack on my 5th generation. iPod is damaged. The only sound in a channel. I am absolutely sure that the plug, not the headphones, as I have tried with 5 different pairs of headphones (A pair is brand new out of the box). So if I took it to repair, how much I charge? I live in New York, then I went to this place called Tekserve and they said they would charge me $ 50. Apple Store Is Cheaper? Please heeeeelp.

I think they charge $ 30.00 plus shipping if it is under factory warranty, you probably will send you a new iPod to ensure that all their music / movies recorded
