Is ISO 4 8GB iPod Touch compatible with third generation?

I recently purchased and the iPod touch, and realized that the new (since June 2010) ISO 4 for the iPod touch is available, but I'm not sure if it is. He said that Apple's iTunes, and only 64 GB is 34, we just want to make sure that it works before updating my iPod.

ISO 4 update is compatible with 8GB Third Generation (3G is not actually the 8GB is only the second generation with firmware update). I just upgraded my 8 GB and it works very well. Go ahead I assure you there will be no problems.
