Third Generation iPod Touch – The Almost) Cure (Verizon iPhone envy!

Like many others, am a Verizon Wireless customer will not switch to AT & T has obtained iPhone. Well, I'm third generation of the iPod Touch a few weeks now and I see no reason why iPhone users are so fond of their phones. This thing is a bomb. This makes everything iPhone has except telephone and the camera – but you can download the applications you must be able to make calls and text, at least when you're on a connection wi-fi.

No need to go into too much detail, other people did. I say the touchscreen is excellent, very sensitive, but definitely get a protective screen. A case is not bad.

The iPod Touch 3G has Wi-Fi, so if you have a Wi-Fi set up at home, you can use to check e mail, surf the web, get weather, download songs from iTunes, get directions via Google Maps, etc. Almost all applications available on the iTunes Store for the iPhone are available for the iPod touch too. You can download and manage songs and applications directly on the iPod touch, or use a computer with iTunes installed. Synchronization is easy (and can also synchronize contacts, etc, depending on what programs you have).

Almost everything is very intuitive and easy to learn, but if you've never used Safari take a few minutes to realize how to turn the pages (the equivalent tabs in Firefox or Internet Explorer) [Note: the small icon in the right corner with a number indicating how many pages are open].

Guard pages, even when you're in a wi-fi can always see what you saw last time (all the pages that were open). Can view YouTube videos and then send to your friends.

And you can set your iPod to automatically play videos in landscape mode (as if bent on phone lateral). A note of caution: if you get a case, then you may want to watch videos and listen to music with headphones, because the president is going to the back of phone and a box covering the back to muffle the sound.

If you reread your collection of CDs to 256 kbps, or all songs are downloaded to your high speed, or if you want to store and view many TV series, then definitely get the 64 GB, 32 GB to be filled faster than you think.

I have nothing to say about the iPod Touch 3rd generation except that this is not an iPhone … But until Verizon Gets iPhone, it does.
