IPOD TOUCH WATER DAMAGE HELPP?

my ipod got rained on, terribly, even though it was in my bag, and the first thing anyone would do is turn it on or try to charge it. yea well it shorted and i wanted to know if the water sensor covered in tissue paper fools apple cuz i want to use my warranty. also, my ipod is already jailbroken and since i cant turn it on at all, i cant restore it. HOW CAN I RESTORE IT? i need to or else apple will find that it is jailbroken thx

Also, if you can’t get it to work, what makes you think Apple has some magic to make it work and see that you’ve hacked it?

You fried it when you turned it on. It’s toast. You’ve learned lesson number 1 in electronics: keep them dry. Expensive lesson.
