How can you fix your iPod nano if the screen goes blank?

When I unplugged my computer and iPod nano was that the screen was all white, but could still here the music played in this. How I can solve this problem without resorting to apples? Please help me.

All I think because I have to restore iPod nano. Doing this will lose all your music, but probably will solve your problem
