What is the best time to buy an iPhone 3G or BlackBerry?? advice please?

Im trying to decide on a 3G iPhone Blackberry 8900 BlackBerry Bold or Curve. Who is a better and more reliable phone? Is there another iPhone to come in the summer better than past devices? Will I get better price if I get during the Christmas holidays or wait until my last days in July 2010? can you give me some pros and cons to help me choose the phone to obtain and when to do it:) .. his ego disorder: /
