Very happy with this phone

By Brent J. Nordquist

This is my first HTC phone and my first experience with an Android phone, and even now I am very happy. The large screen is fantastic, is much easier than writing on my HTC Hero wife. Synchronization with Gmail / Google Contacts / Calendar worked perfectly. The phone is very sensitive from the user feel very catchy. Speech recognition is surprisingly accurate, very useful for quick text message. I've been a long time Palm / Treo user, and even now I've found high quality applications for free replacement for almost everything I do in the Android Market. Nothing to complain until now!

My first mobile phone, a great experience so far

This is the first smartphone in my family has never purchased. We pay-as-you-go phones just do not see the need for additional orders. We knew we want an Android phone, since both Goggles calendar sync our calendars.

I debated between the incredible (Verizon) and Evo (Sprint) for a couple of weeks. We settled in the Sprint for the price and simplicity of the bill, so the Evo won. My wife has the Samsung when I wanted a QWERTY keyboard.

In short, Evo has almost everything you would expect from a phone. After signing my Google account, everything was in place for me to access. The screens are easily available in the mind. I "I can turn WiFi and GPS and if only for a tap on the screen. My Facebook and Google Contacts sync perfectly. The thin and fits in your pocket with ease, although it plans to buy a skin to protect the edges. No I have 4G in my area, I can not therefore believe that yet.

My complaints are only the battery life and placement of the ear to talk. The battery is empty quickly enough when you use it, can be a good idea to have an extra battery. So that when I talk on the phone, the phone seems to sink edge in my ear. Perhaps with a skin that will disappear.

A phone sweet with a fatal error for international travelers

J. Shih "javafuel"

This phone is sweet, much better than the iPhone Apple 4G Nazi 400 000 PUAs. Unfortunately, the Sprint CDMA network. Most of Europe and Asia are on the GSM standard, this phone is a landline phone incredible. Why a smartphone in 2010 is not a phone in the world … I will wait for the GSM version. Sprint, get with the program and the gap CDMA 1990. No wonder they can not compete with the rest of the company.

low-quality telephone – large minicomputer

I am a bit disappointed with my new EVO HTC. I realize that the functions are put into a device that has to sacrifice something, but I was really hoping that the phone has to be much better than them. Voice quality with respect to any talk by phone is poor and once that is added to talk via Bluetooth frankly mediocre. I am also surprised that HTC has decided to devote his time and energy to develop software for speech recognition messages Text, posting to Facebook, etc (by the way, I like), but got a voice dialing feature standard phone via Bluetooth Headset. If Pressing the button on the Bluetooth headset that happens, you can not initiate a call with the headset. Voice dialing that comes with the EVO is not good hands and is certainly not free while driving.

I spent $ 4.00 on the implementation of HF voice marker Del Android market is better than the score of voice that comes with EVO, but I still take my phone and press the demand for start-up, talk through the speaker phone, then once the call is made, it automatically connects a Bluetooth headset and I can tell, this is not my definition hands-free communication while driving!
