A program like LogMeIn or Team Viewer for PC?

I want to help my friend with a class, but do not want to continue at home or come here. There a program that can connect to your computer and let me see and control their computers through mine? As Team Viewer or LogMeIn, except that instead of an iPhone and PC both teams? I perfe if these programs are free or not a trial version of all responses are appreciated
