Jailbreaking 4.0.1 firmware on iPhone 3G?

You can not jailbreak your iPhone 3G if it is running 4.0.1 … Exceptions: 1) you 4.0.1 has a 3G network or 2) you have jailbroken 3G and SH spots. 3) It also seems possible if you have the Boot ROM age.
