FM transmitter for iPhone makes crackling sound when playing music.?

I wondered if there was any way to make the crackling sound out I stop the car speakers. I thought maybe it is possible to wire my car antenna cable (going to the back of the head unit to give radio stations) to my lighter cigarette (when the FM transmitter is plugged in) I'm going to get better reception. If I can make what I just put a cable from the cable antenna cable ground into the cigarette lighter? This is the standard transmitters FM, none of them seem to work well.
