Buying a mac just for iPhone development, it is worth?

Hello, I've always been a Windows user, but recently purchased an iPhone. I like the fact that they are capable of developing their own applications to the phone and want to participate. I know several VBS scripts, HTML, JS and if learning XCode should not be a problem. This is the question though: I 5 computers in my house, all windows. I was thinking of buying a Mac mini or something, only for the production applications. can therefore be calculated: 1 car $ 300 mac mini + keyboard / mouse / screen (increasingly expensive) $ 150 + $ 100 iTunes distribution charges.
