Iphone Apps Development On Windows

Buying a mac just for iPhone development, it is worth?
Hello, I've always been a Windows user, but recently purchased an iPhone. I like the fact that they are capable of developing their own applications to the phone and want to participate. I know several VBS scripts, HTML, JS and if learning XCode should not be a problem. This is the question though: I 5 computers in my house, all windows. I was thinking of buying a Mac mini or something, only for the production applications. can therefore be calculated: 1 car $ 300 mac mini + keyboard / mouse / screen (increasingly expensive) $ 150 + $ 100 iTunes distribution charges. This equate to approximately $ 550 – $ 600. In general, your opinion worth? If I sell applications, how long I can win $ 600 back? Me wondering if I should. Thank you.
Depends on the mac. Most Macs these days are powerful, but the transition of the PC can be difficult if you've used Windows all my life. In this economy, the market is not very strong app, then it probably would take a long time to recover the money. What I would do is buy a server relatively cheap and selling web sites or storage. It would pay more rapidly with the number of customers it has. Also depends on your preference. Windows Vista is too complicated, and has some bugs, but XP works well and is probably easier than Mac OSX. Online marketing can be profitable, but it takes time to learn and achieve the company's inception. It depends how much you're willing to learn, and how fast you want the benefits. Another solution is that you can build a website or two on the server (with html, you already know) and if you can divert traffic to your site, there are many people who are willing to put ads on your site. Get enough people, and may be beneficial
