Iphone Car Charger

Then, keep my iphone pluggeg charger most of the damage or impact on the battery?
I have a 3G iPhone use in my car. I am a taxi driver and a 10 hours a day, I have a Bluetooth receiver to use with Sony for the iPhone to listen to my playlists. The iPhone stays connected to cigarette lighter / charger most of these 10 hours and I'm curious. Is my iPhone or damage the battery in any way?
Keeping connected should not be a problem. The phone detects when the battery is fully charged and stops charging. The only concern would be is if you have a good post-sale (such as lower prices of $ 2 Chineese knock-offs) the charger can not be good or voltage control filters that could allow voltage surges "go" if the car has start / stop etc. (And if you paid $ 20 + for a "best buy" charger that Apple is not even bought a cheap $ 2 "knock-off" you paid too much for her.)
