I have a 3G iPhone use in my car. I am a taxi driver and a 10 hours a day, I have a Bluetooth receiver to use with Sony for the iPhone to listen to my playlists. The iPhone stays connected to cigarette lighter / charger most of these 10 hours and I'm curious. Is my iPhone or damage the battery in any way?

Keeping connected should not be a problem. The phone detects when the battery is fully charged and stops charging.
