The best way to protect your iPod touch / iPhone?

What is the best way to protect your iPod touch / iPhone from scratches? I think a blanket screen and a silicone case, what do you use and why?

Do your best, but eventualy a scratch. Yes, if silicon protecters and screen are probably the best you can do and I found a hard plastic shell too beautiful. I tried to keep mine nice, but scratched the back it hurts when I stopped using the case and screen protector. IPod Touch is a glass screen that is very strong scratch resistant so I can not scratch easily
