Altel is a CDMA network. As far as I know all the iPhone clones using GSM. GSM phones do not work on CDMA and CDMA networks do not work on GSM networks. They use different technologies. It did not even bother to CECT A88 if you decide to switch to a provider that uses GSM. The CECT A88 one of the best iPhone clones of research but that uses the GSM 900/1800 frequency bands, but the U.S. / Canada 850/1900 frequency bands used for what does not work.
