Getting Started with Eclipse

Suppose you have installed Eclipse files in c: eclipse. For Eclipse start, double-click the icon for the eclipse in c: eclipse folder. The Workspace Launcher window now appears. Type c: Smith in the area of the workspace and then Click OK to display the user interface of Eclipse. (If the workspace already contains projects, projects are displayed in the interface.) To work space is actually a directory which stores your project files.

You can start Eclipse by double clicking the icon on the Eclipse installation directory of Eclipse.

Workspace Launcher allows you to choose a directory to save the project.
