flashlight jailbroken iPhone application does not work .. Please help?

Just jailbroke my iphone and I tried to install application flashlight. It installed, but when I click on its operation will be a blank screen for just one second and goes. Doesnot brighter screen … Do I have to download anything else first to get it to work correctly .. It is my first application I'm currently downloading. Please help Thanks!
