I have TMobile and have no Internet at all, but if I put my SIM in an iPhone, I can use it correctly?

Ive been using my T-Mobile SIM card and AT & T phone, and I really want an iphone, but I really need internet for this to work? My friend has CLIQ Tmobile and said that Internet is required for this to work, but I did not understand because I could not get the Internet service, but my friend does not have CLIQ Motorola Internet and works well, so if I have no internet on my T-Mobile plan, I can always put my SIM in an iPhone and there is still work properly? "I can make calls and receive calls and send texts and get the text and either a regular phone with offline? (I have WiFi at home so ill get the applications and the like, as I did with my ipod touch in the past) Are you sure that SIM cards are firms different? Because my TMobile SIM card placed in a perfect HOLA AT & T unlocked phone? someone answer me!

Not sure. Some SIM cards are bigger than others, I think. I have pcs metro. If I do not SIM. but I think I care. may have to get a new SIM card.
