Suggestions for Verizon cell phone plan for Mac users?

I recently bought a Mac Book Pro (I a desktop PC) and Time for a new cell phone. Even if I am seduced by the iPhone, I am a Verizon customer and most of my friends and family are "in" I am currently thinking about the possibility that I really need a smart phone because the price of data plans, then all suggestions are appreciated. And if you convert to AT & T for the iPhone and we're happy about that – let me know that too. Thanks!

I can say that smartphones are really more "business oriented to "what if not you, not worth spending money added. I love their phones more regular user. PS I think that AT & T and the iPhone sucks not worth the change. If your friends and family are "in", will save you money with Verizon. You should go with the LG Dare, I learned that was better than the iPhone anyway and is available in Verizon.
