Mac Mail And Yahoo Mail show my custom folders? only shows the inbox, drafts, sent, but no other folders &trash;.

By example, I have a custom folder called "stuff than" I use to essentially everything that I want to keep. I have another custom folders for the main categories. Currently Mac Mail is not to show my folders. I used yahoo mail for ten years and do not want to stop, but since I'm a Mac, I I found so any advantage of using the family Mac applications like iTunes, iPhone, etc. Mac Mail I tried to put in the fold, but I am hampered by this problem. I will also use the Mac forums to try and get an answer, but I thought some Yahoo users have experienced the same. Thanks!
