IPhone 3G worth the upgrade?

Currently I have a 3G iPhone but my contract is for an update next month. I thought to improve 3G, but I'm not sure about the 3G only has minor differences compared to 3G. I was wondering if you can also recommend alternatives to the iPhone 3G. (I like this phone looks good, customizable, and have a good multimedia feature high definition video, good camera) Thanks in advance

Its really up to you, if you already have a 3G 16 GB I'd say probably not upgrade, but if you have an 8gb I'd say go for it. You can sell 3G 200-300, so I can not really cost you anything to improve and you have a phone much faster with more storage capacity.
