Airtel is working on an iPhone on us?

I want an iPhone, but ………. in India are expensive …. also if I thought my uncle was get a 3G iPhone for ……… …….. if you are working in Airtel Vodafone, or …… here in India??

Any iPhone purchased in the U.S. must be unlocked before using it in India. There are tools freely available to him. Currently, there are free software (Ultrasn0w) for the 3G iPhone model. I read that developers Ultrasn0w are close enough to release software that could work in the IPhone 3G also released. So I would expect that the software is free.
