iPhone OS 4.0 – iPod touch 8GB multitasking, the third generation?

Does anyone know if the iPhone OS 4.0 will support multi-tasking the latest iPod touch 8 GB? I heard it could just be a reconditioned unit in the second generation and is not multi-task. Does anyone know?

Be the concert March 8 th generation iPod Touch has basically the foundations of the second generation. I think the slower processor will not be able to handle increased workload. In addition, the concert has only 8 MB of RAM 128 GB compared to 32 MB 64 256 GB
