You can buy an iPhone and use it on Verizon Wireless network?
My father told me that you can buy an Apple iPhone and use it with Verizon service (I have). Is this true?
He is wrong. The iPhone is a GSM phone that can not be used on Verizon's CDMA network. In addition, Verizon will not activate a non-branded phone to Verizon.
