Mail Settings Pop3 Imap Vs Iphone?

Ok So I have my iPhone set up your IMAP email, great, but I just want to delete my e-mails from the iPhone, but still on the server / Outlook. OK, the solution is to use POP3 on the iPhone, and never delete a post selected server. Grande, one of the problems of e mails are not synchronized, is far from making this investment with MS Exchange? I even tried adding the same account twice for my iPhone as IMAP and POP3 without luck, a little help would be appreciated. Greetings Danny

I think its hard to please. I have both IMAP on my iPhone and computer, but I have yahoo and not I can do it on my iPhone. If you can have both, then great.
