Can I bluetooth pair my iphone to a Wiimote (Wii Remote)?

I have an iPhone and a Nintendo Wii remote control. "I can connect with it through / Bluetooth? I have a macbook pro and I'm learning Xcode and the iPhone. I am interested to use the iPhone as a screen and the Wiimote game controller programming for this course. I want this solution is portable. Then I could be on a train or car, or just standing somewhere and just remove the iPhone and wiimote and be able to play some games. For anyone who did it? Has anyone tried to program against it?
