IPhone or Android SDK?

Hello, I'm a junior developer of the Java programming language, more specifically on the Internet. My boss asked me if I can develop applications for mobile point of sale. He gave me options, iPhone and Android. I have read and features some progress both in the SDK is capable of. Want to know it would be easier to use SDK which includes familiarity, coding, functionality and resources. Thanks

Objective-C and Cocoa are fun to work but only after his head for a lot of subtleties Apple. I have not used API in Android, but I think it's probably better to my previous experience of Google API.
