The new iPhone 3G confidence? More reliable than the original 3G?

We have the AT & T and the origin iPhone 3G has some bad reviews of the Call quality (dropped calls, etc.) The new 3G iPhone Better? Did they get the bugs? I need a reliable phone. Yes, the iPhone features are impressive, but what about the basic reliability to call in case of emergency? All comments (positive or negative) on the new iPhone 3G would be very appreciated!

The problem is not the telephone network. If AT & T has a decent coverage in your area, you should not encounter many problems. I'm in a area in which AT & T coverage is comparable to Verizon and have never had a dropped call. However, in some areas, AT & T coverage is terrible. If you of these areas, almost no matter what AT & T phone selection. You should ask people in your area if AT & T has good coverage. Never your trust in what the airline said.
