Does the iPod touch and iPhone screen size?

IM plans to buy a shield for my ipod touch … I wonder if the screen size iPhone is the same as an ipod touch? in terms of thickness, the iPhone is thicker than the iPod Touch … but I want to know if the iPod touch had the same screen size IPhone LCD Size … Tanx

The two are identical. Any protection screen that corresponds to the iPhone fit the iPod Touch.
