Is there anyway for the iPhone and iPod Touch application programming in Windows?

Hi, I have an iPhone, but want to start to applications to the App Store. I was wondering if you can download anything to run the Windows SDK? Or my other question is, Is it easier to run directly from Mac a PC or hard drive is easier to use a virtual PC within Windows.

Sorry – The only software that will create applications for the iPhone touch / Xcode is Apple. Xcode only works on a Mac not easy or cheap to run Mac on Windows. There are good ways to run Windows on a Mac, BTW. If you want to start programming at a lower cost for iPhone / Touch, then pick up an Intel Mac Mini for a few hundred dollars, or find a mini Intel used a particular location.
