You must have an Intel-Mac requires another as the iPhone OS X to run applications such as Xcode and the iPhone simulator. Unfortunately there is no legal means to develop applications for the iPhone in something that is not a MAC.

The iPhone SDK is relatively easy to obtain and operational, therefore, IMO it is absolutely worth the OSX way is especially if you are what you want, you can make the commercial development of a day. You will need a jailbroken iPhone, a developer account call line and a bit of Unix (Cygwin running the show). Toolchaininstaller Windows binaries for your iPhone here.

I think there are ways to develop applications for the iPhone in Windows, but the easiest way I read at the time was a toinstall MAC OS on a PC or a Mac Mini, it is very fun to watch becomes much improved appearance of Windows Mobile as an alternative. You can easily develop applications in a virtual machine hosted on Windows or OS X using VMware, but it is a violation of the license agreement for illegal performance

I found this interesting site, freetheapps and you can learn how to create iPhone applications without any knowledge priorprogramming …
