Help adapter to connect my guitar and headphones on my iPhone?

I put a double adapter plugged my iPhone Jack Headphone Jack for a side and my guitar in the manufacture of other (like the map guitarbud) downloaded an application from guitar amp simulation, but the guitar sound does not work, not the handset?? All ideas

The link is probably just a stereo connector, uses a special connector GuitarBud 3 conductor (stereo is 2) so you can send a stereo signal to headphones and have a mono signal from your guitar. It will not work. Sorry.
