Here's a video on youtube claiming that the iPhone is unlocked to Sprint, not I know how legitimate this is video, and whether to collect the instructions, let me know what you think, legitimate or not? It is not possible – the iPhone is a GSM phone (SIM card has to work) while Sprint is a CDMA carrier (do not use SIM cards) .. They use a different technology, are not compatible together!
