Am I getting free internet on my tmobile iphone 3g?

hey, I recently unlocked and jailbroke my iphone 3g and got tmobile.
I noticed I get internet service everywhere.
For some odd reason a tmobile rep told me that I do not have internet service and I have no charges on my account for it. I have been using it and it works, is it for free? And is it possible for me to get charged money for it?

If you are it will be easily found out by the engineers that audit the towers and internet usage. I would probably call to just add it if you want the internet. I know theres a few Reps that would add it in a separate system. But usually get caught in the long run.
