IPhone vs Android How is it?

I see all the time the sales figures in the first week (the iPhone 3G sold 1.6 million units in the first week myTouch sold 60,000 units, etc), but how is that iPhone vs Android phones total (Original, 3G and 3G)? My belief is that all phones Android combined over the next two years will exceed the amount of iPhones, but Android phone will have a dominant position.

That's the beauty Android platform for smartphones. It is open source operating system phone manufacturers can create more more phones on the same platform. More phones means more development, more applications and more features. And with all the competitive models, will have lower prices than different manufacturers competing for your money. We have already seen this with Sprint lowers the price (through Best Buy) in its version of the HTC version of Hero rival Verizon (ERIS).
