Will I receive a replacement iPhone in the U.S. Apple Store?

Hello, I'm from the UK and live in the UK. Last year I bought an iPhone in the U.S.. He stopped his work and one year warranty. I have a friend go to the bank in Florida, where you buy and take it to see if. You can get a replacement. Does anyone know if iPhone will give me a replacement? Do not see why I should not, but wondered if anyone knows and what are the thoughts of the people? Is there someone else in the UK who has a broken iPhone, bought in the U.S.? If you are in ensuring 1 year, usually replace it without question. I broke the screen on mine and a newcomer to the email after about a week … I changed the SIM card and sent the broken one and never heard from again. However, it is recommended to back up everything in iTunes if you can handle. Not everything will transferred to the new phone just a SIM card change.
