What should I do with the iPhone water damage?

Well I know it's stupid, but my first generation Iphone fell in the toilet. I am very upset and angry that I can not believe. So I took it out and does not work completely. I know a one-year warranty, but what counts if you want to replace other first-generation? Will they be able to do at the Apple store for me?
