IPhone 3G or HTC Hero?

I try to choose between these two phones. I can not afford, iPhone 3G or SE Xperia X10 Motorola droid. I have reduced my selection Hero for HTC or iPhone 3G. Hero costs about £ 180 iPhone 3G will cost between £ 180 and £ 250. please help me make my choice.
