Can not find Xcode / Cocoa?

hey. I work in vmware osx86 Leopard (slow, but I am trying to run) and I created Setup so you can have in creating applications for the iPhone. I downloaded and installed Xcode, but I do not know how to get started on my Mac (as I find where the file is opened that Xcode). can someone please let me tell you how to find the file that opens Xcode or I need to open applications to develop the iPhone in one IDE. if you can, if Please include a tutorial on how to program in Cocoa / Objective-C (so I can develop apps for the iPhone) in its response. Please help!
