Yahoo! Mail problems with iPhone 3.0 Upgrade?

I upgraded my iPhone 3G with the OS 3.0. Since then I have been unable to send email using my Yahoo! Mail account. I tried changing the default SMTP server with no success. I tried adding a new SMTP server but it doesn’t let me turn off the default (Apple) server and I end up with the same problems. Any insights?

Why is there not more buzz about this Apple OS 3.0/Yahoo! premium mail incompatibility? Are the million emails sent from iPhones queued up in outer space?
